Toronto & GTA / Where to startAn AI answer is only as useful as the operation behind it.
For a business connecting stores, fulfilment locations and service teams across the GTA, a customer question can cross several systems before anyone can answer it reliably. AI may reduce the effort of finding information. It also needs a dependable account of stock, order status, policy and the person authorised to resolve a conflict. Assess those dependencies against one complete journey before committing to a wider rollout.
01Choose the workflow with a measurable operating benefit
Compare recurring order enquiries, service preparation or internal knowledge retrieval by frequency, current handling effort and the consequence of an error. Include the cases that require an experienced person. A high request count alone does not justify investment if staff must repeat the same investigation after the assistant responds.
02Connect information without confusing authority
Map which record establishes available stock, a delivery commitment or refund eligibility. Examine freshness, access and conflicting updates across commerce, order management, stores and finance. The assessment identifies which gaps need resolving for the selected use case and which broader data work can wait.
03Compare the full cost of a useful outcome
Evaluate an existing platform capability, a separate AI product and a conventional process or automation option against the same case types. Count integration, usage, staff review, correction and support. Leadership should see what changes at higher volumes and which assumptions need evidence from a bounded pilot.
